How to Stream Videos or Music From Microsoft Edge in Windows 10

You can use Edge Channels to play music and videos on your Windows 10 PC. Here’s how.

Windows 10 includes a built-in app called Edge that acts as your default web browser. However, in addition to navigating the web, you can also use it to stream content. Here’s how.

Open the Cortana search field inWindows 10. Then type “Edge” and select the Edge** option from the search results to open the browser.

Once open, click on the … button on the toolbar and select Channels from the drop-down menu. A panel will open on the right side with a list of channels to choose from.

If a channelis available for your region, you will be able to watch or listen to content from the channel. For example, is available for you guys in the United States. Select a channel and then select a video or song you want to watch. The content will play in the panel on the right. You can also move the panel anywhere you want on the screen. Additionally, you can minimize it by clicking the red circle/x icon in its top corner.

The list of available channels will vary depending on your region and device. For example, on my devices, I have access to groovyPost, Adult Swim, CollegeHumor, and many more. You can even customize the channels you want to seefrom the settings. To do that, click on the …** button on the top right corner of the Channel panel and select Settings and more… from the list. Then click on + Find more… > Show more & personal** to choose the channels of your interest. You can also choose to sync your Favorites and Reading Lists with the channel list.
